These polarized acetate sunglasses are built around a clean, slightly squared silhouette with softly clipped corners and a flat top line. The brown pair, shown on the model, glows with a rose-to-amber gradient lens that reads warm and architectural at once. The black colorway sharpens the same shape into something more graphic, with smoke-grey lenses and a small gold D logo at the temple. Two finishes, one quietly confident shape.
The front is wide and flat across the brow, with a low bridge and gently angled outer corners that lend a subtle lift without tipping into cat-eye territory. The temples are thick and tapered, cut from the same acetate as the front, with an embossed pattern hidden on the inner side of the arm. As square sunglasses go, these carry real presence — enough width to balance a strong jaw, enough polish to stay elegant. The brown version fades from soft pink at the top to a deeper amber below, while the black keeps everything uniform and sharp. If you want something more angular, the Angular polarized pair pushes the geometry further.
The frame is solid acetate, hand-polished so the surface catches light cleanly along the temples and front. Both colorways run polarized lenses with full UV400 protection, cutting glare off roads, water and glass while blocking the entire UV spectrum. Spring-free acetate hinges are reinforced with a fine metal core for a firm, lasting hold. The gradient tint on the brown pair is baked into the lens, not coated on, so it won't scuff off with everyday wear. You can see the full polarized line if you want to compare tints.
The flat brow and squared corners flatter round and oval faces especially well, adding structure where softer frames blur. This is a genuinely unisex shape — the brown leans warm and feminine, the black stays clean and neutral. Reach for them driving into low sun, walking the city, or anywhere reflected glare is a problem. For a slimmer take, the Rectangles UV 400 sit closer to the face.
Are these polarized? Yes. Both the brown and black colorways use polarized lenses, so glare off roads, water and screens is cut noticeably.
What size are these frames? Precise dimensions aren't listed, but based on the wide square silhouette expect roughly 54–56mm lens width — a medium-to-large fit. This is an estimate from the shape.
How is shipping and returns? Free shipping on orders over $100 and a 30-day return window on every pair.
How do they compare to designer brands? Same acetate, same polarized UV400 lenses used by houses charging $300 and up. You skip the boutique markup, not the quality.
DeLuxe works with the same acetate suppliers that feed the large European eyewear houses, then ships straight to you from Montreal. No middle boutique, no logo tax — just the frame and a fair price. It's how a $40 pair holds its own against something four times the cost. Browse the wider Sunglasses collection to see the range.
Every DeLuxe lens carries a UV400 guarantee, backed by a 30-day return policy if the fit isn't right. Wipe with the included microfibre cloth and store in the case to keep the acetate and gradient looking new.
